Movement Disorders
Movement disorders are neurological conditions that affect the speed, fluency, quality and ease of movement. The following conditions are movement disorders:
- Ataxia - (lack of coordination, jerky movements)
- Dystonia – (involuntary movement and prolonged contraction)
- Myoclonus – (rapid, brief, irregular movement)
- Tics – (involuntary muscle contractions)
- Tourette’s Syndrome – (inherited disorder evidenced by multiplemotor and vocal tics)
Over 25 years ago, I was diagnosed with focal eyelid dystonia, also called Blepharospasm. It is evidenced by uncontrolled and involuntary muscular movements of the eye. It could be blinking, or in severe cases, the person could be legally blind because the eyes are always shut.
After six weeks of taking a whole food and nutritional supplement program that nourished my body and brain, my symptoms diminished dramatically. If this health food could help me, maybe it could help you.
